During brunch we accept reservations for groups of 5 or more only, otherwise it’s first-come first-serve
As Toronto’s oldest restaurant in continuous operation at the same location, our booths were made in the 1940’s, so if you are dining with 5 or more guests please phone us to ensure we can seat you together

Q: Is there parking available near the Senator?
A: Yes, there are a few parking options
Some street parking on Victoria St. near the restaurant

Q: Do you have options for people with dietary restrictions?
A: Yes, many of the menu options are gluten-free and our staff are well-versed in modifying menu items to meet any and all guests dietary restrictions.
Q: What’s the difference between the Brunch and Dinner menu?
A: The Brunch menu centres on delicious breakfast fare, and offers lunch options including our Senator Burger and Chicken Club. The Dinner menu offers dishes for an exciting night out, including some classic comfort foods we’re known for, such as Chicken Pot Pie.
Q: Do you have a kid’s menu?
A: No, however our kitchen does their best to accommodate younger diners.
Q: Is the restaurant wheelchair accessible?
A: Wheelchairs are able to enter the restaurant and can be situated at a table on the main floor. However, our bathroom is not wheelchair accessible, as it is downstairs. Our staff can help notify you of community options that are wheelchair accessible.
Q: Is the music program running?
A: The Upstairs is not currently open for operation, it is being used solely for private events. Please stay tuned on our website, instagram @thesenatorto, or email us to be added to our newsletter for updates on the music program and more.
